The Bail Bond Process
Many people have questions about California Bail Bonds and the process that it entails. The process can be long and stressful at times. We try our best to make the process run smoothly for you. From getting arrested, to being released, the journey can be complicated. To help everyone get a better understanding of how this works we created this California bail bonds infographic to be your guide!
The California bail bonds process starts with someone being arrested and booked. Which includes being fingerprinted and put into the computer system, keep in mind that this process could take a few hours. After the booking process, the detained individual is allowed up to make a phone call. The amount of phone calls vary from county to county, but the person under arrest at least gets one phone call. That individual should make it a priority to call a bail bonds agency.
The next steps come from our side. When we get a phone call from someone who needs to be bailed out, or someone who needs to bail someone else out, there are a few things that we need to do. First we find out what county the detainee is in and what jail they are located in. After taking in some information we then check the detainees background ourselves and if necessary, call the family.
When speaking to the person or people who are bailing out a loved one, we get some general information and try to come to a solution that works for everyone. When the bail is posted we have a family member pick up the detainee from jail, or we can even do it for them. When the detainee is free, we wait for the court date and take it from there.
